The reception and bar area is beautiful and the location is perfect- right in the town centre. staff were so friendly and helpful- we had requested early check in but our room wasn’t ready as they were arranging a treat to put for my boyfriends’ birthday but they moved the room so we could check in early and then room service came up as we were settling in with some birthday treats which I felt was really special and amazing service for them to go out their way as they did.

Everything was great and enjoyable at the Doubletree Hilton Manchester Piccadilly and the staff made it PERFECT. Sam, Front Desk Reservation Supervisor was phenomenal. He was helpful with everything from a friendly face and personality to anything we needed in our room, transportation, specific suggestions we requested and more. His staff was as kind as he was most definitely including Maryanne. Winnie in guest services was extremely kind, helpful and a joy to see. Tia in the restaurant was amazing as well. Many people nitpick when giving a review rather than looking at the overall and what challenges the staff has to deal with. Where you stay is not home but you can’t get any closer than this Hotel. Clean, modern decor is very pleasant. I was put on L2 which I was told is newly refurbished, hence everything looked nice and new. Very pleasant staff at the L1 restaurant - excellent food. I think I managed to get it at promotional rates on booking.com, hence it's good value for money.

Who can resist cookies? Warm choc-chip cookies on arrival is just the beginning. Only a few-minute walk from the Piccadilly train station, friendly staff, very comfortable & spacious rooms and a FANTASTIC in house restaurant, this is my go-to hotel in Manchester. I never eat in my hotel, but here is the exception. The restaurant is fabulous with excellent quality food (meat in particular) and a decent wine list to boot. The sports bar is also a nice spot to relax at the end of the day. Walking distance to pretty much everything you might visit in Manchester.

i was pleasantly surprised with this hotel for the price i was not expecting the beautiful new rooms and really central location , our flight was cancelled during the air traffic control problem and we had to book a room for the night , we actually booked this hotel in error instead of the one at Manchester Airport but i’m glad we did! the hotel was very centrally located meaning we could head out for the evening at ease and come back for a drink in the bar before bed. my only criticism is that the bar only had enough tequila for one margarita ( my favorite cocktail) . The room was perfect the bed one of the most comfortable i’ve slept in and the bathroom was really clean and well designed, i woulddefinitely book this hotel again

Stayed here many times, always good but the young lady that was showing us to ours table at breakfast was lovely so bright & pleasant certainly a great start to the day.

The people in the Street restaurant were really great and accommodated me feeling slightly unwell. When I said I didn't want much to eat, they said there was no problem at all and to make myself at home. I only had a 250ml wine and a Houmous Dip with Pitta Bread and I was not hassled. Also, one of the young men who served me, recognized me at breakfast the next day and asked me how I was feeling. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. This was a nice personal touch. I also must congratulate the way Maya on the front desk helped me sort out directions to the Art Gallery, Museum and store suitcases et. She was extremely, cheerful, lovely and helpful! I

location was excellent and we were able to park the car on site. Reception / bar and room were all spotless (& reception smelt amazing). Reception staff were super helpful and we were able to check in early which allowed us time to get ready to meet my daughter and her partner for drinks before dinner. Room was spacious and well appointed - bed was comfortable as were the pillows - we had a great nights sleep. plus the staff went above & beyond by delivering a birthday balloon, drinks and snacks so than you to Hashim, Pete & the team
